FedEx® International Connect Plus (FICP) – Pacific Region Expansion
FedEx subsidiary FedEx Express are expanding their Pacific international shipping service to boost e-commerce growth in the region.
Indonesia, New Zealand, the Philippines, and Vietnam
The new, day-definite program called FedEx® International Connect Plus (FICP) will provide competitive speed with attractive prices for four more markets across Asia – including Indonesia which is currently one of South East Asia’s fastest growing economies.
FICP is an international, day-definite, e-commerce shipping service targeting speed with better prices to four more markets across the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) region. This includes Indonesia, New Zealand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
Fastest-growing markets – Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam
The Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam are some of the fastest-growing e-commerce markets. FedEx is reporting that e-commerce sales in Southeast Asia will reach $100 billion by 2023.
With this expansion, FICP is now available across 14 markets including Australia, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, mainland China, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
1 to 3 business day delivery with FedEx® International Connect Plus
E-commerce merchants can offer their customers an international shipping option with prices that offer value-for-money, while ensuring most shipments will be delivered between 1 to 3 business days.
