Essentially, we’ve established secure digital links to many freight carriers’ online systems, each offering diverse freight and shipping services, prices, and delivery times.
When you submit your shipping details and ask for a quote, we broadcast your request to every carrier and courier partner on our platform.
This list takes into account the type of items to be sent, the pickup and delivery postcodes and country and the size and weight of the shipment. What happens next is, each carrier will return their freight quotes into one sortable list on one screen.
This list allows you to compare and choose the best pickup and delivery option which suits your requirements and budget. In addition to the list, we show you the fastest quote and the cheapest quote, to allow you to make an instant decision.
Once you’ve selected the carrier and service, accepted the price and confirmed your booking, we digitally send your booking details to the carrier. when they accept your booking, they instantly send back a confirmation, which is mapped to your account.
In order to access the freight platform and make a booking, this is the process:
Setting Up a One World Courier Account: To start, first create an account with us, which provides you access to instant quotes from a range of freight, courier, and shipping carriers available on our platform.
Entering Shipping Information: You then enter your shipping details, which includes the origin and destination of the shipment, along with the size and weight of your goods.
Requesting Quotes: With a single click, we send your provided information to all the connected carriers.
Receiving and Comparing Quotes: We promptly receive quotes from these carriers and display them on your screen, along with their respective delivery times, allowing you to weigh your options and decide which carrier fits your needs best.
Booking: Once you’ve chosen a carrier, you confirm your booking with us, and we communicate your choice to the carrier.
After we’ve shown you the carrier options with their prices, services, and delivery time frames, you’ll have all the information you need to choose the one that suits your requirements best. You may notice that the same carrier appears multiple times, offering different pick-up and delivery time frames. This is to provide you with a range of choices based on your specific needs, such as:
Overnight Service: This is typically the fastest option available. If you choose the overnight service, your shipment is picked up during the day and delivered by the next morning. This service is ideal for urgent deliveries, especially between major capital cities, such as Brisbane to Sydney or Melbourne Sydney, where time is of the essence. The trade-off for this speedy service is usually a higher cost compared to other services, but the goods are delivered – fast!Same Day Service: If you select the same day service, your shipment is picked up and delivered within the same day. This is a great option for local and metropolitan deliveries or when you need something delivered quickly but within the same city or region. It’s faster than economy service, but typically slower and less expensive than overnight service.
Economy Service: This is typically the most cost-effective option, as it involves slower delivery times. If you’re not in a hurry and want to save on shipping costs, the economy service is an excellent choice. Your shipment may take a few days to a week to be delivered, depending on the distance. This slower pace allows carriers to optimise their logistics and pass the cost savings onto you.

Booking Confirmation: If the selected carrier agrees to your booking, we update this information on our platform and you will be notified. At this point, working away in the background, the correct shipping labels are created and ready to print from within the portal.
- Booking Tracking: Once a booking has been made, you can track every detail of the shipment in real-time, review the booking details and connect with our Freight Operations Teams if assistance is required.
- Generating an Invoice: Finally, we generate an invoice for you, reflecting the total price of the booking including any additional fees incurred (Handling fees, delivery exceptions etc).
