Way back in 1984, right in Devonport, Tasmania,  Tasfreight was born. The reason for its inception was to shake things up and provide a quick and efficient way to ship goods between Tasmania and Melbourne.

The brains behind this game-changing operation was Kerry Gibson. With three decades of experience under his belt, Kerry was the mastermind who saw the potential for such a service. His dedication and drive helped turn this concept into a reality, and he still brings the same level of enthusiasm to his role as Managing Director today.

From the get-go, Kerry has been all about making sure that Tasfreight becomes a leader in the specialist freight industry, continuously moving goods between the Australian mainland and the ‘apple isle’. Today, we’re proud to acknowledgement Tasfreight are leading the charge in moving freight across the Tasman and are a proud partner of ours.
